I would watch F1 if those elitest snobs would actually race here.

They will in 2009 if some sponsor will actually fork over the money. It's pretty hard for IMS to compete with places such as Bahrain and so on. Remember were paying for all of it everytime we go to the pump!

As for the drivers coming over here and going around on ovals. I got to agree with "those across the pond guys" ovals are not about the best driver in the best car, it's almost always about luck and the way the yellow flags furls.

Good times, I got to take a nap, I was up at 6 bells watching F-1 and now I have the IRL at St.Pete to watch.

LOL Did you hear what Kyle Busch said about passing Dale Jr. something about how funny it was for him to pass Dale Jr. and watch all the Dale Jr. fans sit down. I pretty much can stand KB but that was damn funny. Sorry Dale Jr. fans but it was funny. :)

I personally liked how the crowd reacted when Jr. got the pole.

What a BORING race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope 'Flipper' doesn't push the duck to a win...

And they just keep building more of them. Why not build another Bristol or Richmond!!

I hear that! My 2 favorite tracks!

I think some of it has to do with the COT though.
There seems to be more long green flag racing this season, & I think it is at least partially due to the COT being easier to correct.
We see many "sideways" moments where the driver was able to correct it, when in the past, he would have likely been in the wall.

These long green runs allow the teams that have the better setup to extend their leads & lap more cars thus...boring racing.

The cars also seem less succeptable to becoming loose from the car behind tucking up under the rear spoiler. That move made passing much easier. Passing = a great race

These are my opinions on why the racing seems less exciting this season.

That, and the NASCAR organization is crooked & rotten.
