Tether placement

I'm a bit on the obsessive compulsive side of things and was having trouble with putting the tether off-centre as most of them I see.

I found that just a bit of heat from the underside of the panel makes it real easy to place it in the centre.

I drilled the hole first, then heated the underside with a torch just until I could flex the panel from the topside.

Turned out great and is "proper" in my mind!

I installed mine in the same place as yours due to my OCD. Unfortunately I didn't realize beforehand my handlebar bag would knock it off....have to put it on the side now.

I was able to reason with my OCD and I installed mine to the left because thats where the hook is on my jacket... Although most of the time I find myself just wrapping the tether around my left wrist due to that stupid small clip.

I clipped the small clip onto a larger easy to use clip and can clip it on most anywhere..

X2, I put one of those small carabiners on mine that u can get most anywhere for about $3. Much easier to handle

That's what I need to do! I really like having the tether, just need it a little more user friendly.
