Testing injectors

The 4 injectors from my 2009 800 dragon: Does anyone know if there is a reasonable place in Missoula to have snowmobile injectors tested for proper operation?

Thank you,

Informative as that answer was :) Where and how much does it cost to have the check performed?

JoeMT I think a friend of mine had his tested last year (he is in Missoula area), I will email him and get back to you, if you don't hear from me in a couple days give me a PM or email back!

I am having problems with my injectors, I think it is the wiring (they have been spliced) but throwing a pto side injector voltage code... need to get it fixed so I can go ride! My sled has red injectors though which are fairly rare from what I have seen.

Got a reply back for you already, he said:

Had mine tested at Gomers Diesel off of Broadway on Palmer St. 728-7620 That is who Kurts recommended. I had to pay to have them tested, seems like it was around $100.

I will contact Gomers and I have emailed these people as well.

http://www.witchhunter.com/ Their Website states $22.00 per injector and that the "Price includes parts and before and after test".

Seems reasonable. Of course you have to ship the injectors to them..so there are shipping costs.

9 Volt battery... and a 2 foot long 3/8 gas line and some compressed air works great..

Pretty easy to do..

Each time u send volts to the injector it opens.. so just do that a few times.. with carb cleaner in the line.. with compressed air...

U will for surly see a bad one.. or a good mist.. spray

Thanks NapaMatt, I am fighting my own injector issues on my 860 Carls sled... I might give this a try...

I sent the injectors off to the witchhunters...they can connect up to your wiring harness which I felt was a plus.........

I will report on how it goes and the results.
