Tensioner?

I havnt done any research but why havnt aftermarket company's offered a bolt on tensioner of some sort?
When the drive shafts were going everyone and there neighbor were making collars...

C3 got a kit with tensioner and new sprockets and belt. But no tensioner alone

I've heard of guys running tensioners on them and they seemed to help... Don't see why the aftermarket hasn't come up with something...

i also am hearing guys running tensioner with stock belt. would be cool to see pictures

I wonder if belt tension needs to be increased. If you look at post # 35 the CMX with a tensioner actually has less tension than the Polaris belt.

The belts actually shrink as they get warm.
