I am a boondocker turbo on my M8 and on idle my left egt is running over 100 degrees cooler than the right! Ideas?

thanks man, you answered my question also... where should the egts be running normally? boondockers says 1300 is normal...seems a little hot to me tho... what do you think?

Mostly depends on egt probe distance to piston skirt, further away=cooler temp readings, etc. Fuel blends will affect optimum temp ranges also. I run my EGT's around 1150*F at WOT with an AFR reading of about 12.2-12.4 on 50/50 AV/premium. I am running a different fuel blend this year so these will change a little, relative to boost.

Oh, my EGT's are mounted about an inch from the y-pipe flanges.

That's where mine are also. So on the air fuel mixture do you use that to tune it at all rpms or mainly just WOT? and if I just ran pump gas where would you want the A/F to be?
