How much of a pain is it to get the air out of the system afternoons work to the engine and having the collant level drained or low? Going to be doing head studs was wondering about this.
I to agree if your engine is saying its hot it probably is. If you suspect something from the box unplug it. But surely verify that coolant is full otherwise if the head lifts and gets hot your likely to need to pull the head and check it for trueness before doing the new head gasket. You'd be surprised how mush pressure hot gas from a air bubble can make and blow the head gasket.
