Company has an opening in Mountain Home ID, looks like a nice little town, should have plenty of dirt bike single track and snowmobiling, what say you:face-icon-small-hap

Its a town in southern Idaho, bout all i got to tell you.....haha Ive heard from many there is awesome riding not to far from there.

Sounds like a real metropolis compared to where I live now:lol: I think there are 150 people here at most, town is an hour away :plane: this would be a step up in conveniences :face-icon-small-coo

hmm mountain home u say!

high desert lots of sage brush lots of ammenities golf airforce base motorcycle paradise 20-30 min drive to mint sleddin only downfall is windy all the time! ps they have a walmart! lol!

You can drive to Pine and Featherville or Fairfield in less than an hour. There is some good riding there.
40 miles from Boise so you can easily access some of the amenities of the big city without the crap of it.
Carls Cycle is close, in Boise. Lots of single track and desert riding in the summer. Dont remember tha name of the dealer right there on the Westside of town.
Bruneau Dunes is close and there is an Air Force Base 10 miles south of Town with a Wally World right off the freeway. Woohoo!

What else do you want to know?

Great sledding is close, Great Dual-sport motorcycling is really close, can be hot in the summer, not super cold in the winter. The dealer Turbo was talking about is Terry's Truck and RV. He used to be a Cat dealer, now just does tractors, but still works on any sled, great shop. The owner rides every Sunday all season long and knows where the best spots are. My girlfriend lives there so I'm there quite a bit. I'm up in the Sun Valley area. Let us know if you make the move, we can definately show you around.

2Coola AirVents lives there! :) As Martin said, high desert, little bit hot in the summertime (98 today). Close to riding - sleds, bikes, whatever you like. about 20,000 people not counting the base. Buyers market for houses right now, few good restaurants in town. Lots of good people here.

Let us know if you come into town and we could show you around or something!

:) Tammy

How on earth do they get away with calling it "Mountain Home"?

Anyway as everyone already posted...lots of wonderful people!

Any word on the possible move? I guess I won't be down there that much anymore due to relationship status change, more time for sledding for me. Let us know if this move is gonna happen or not. Good luck.

Nope, not moving, job wasnt as good as I have now, still looking for just the right balance of job and personelle life:face-icon-small-coo
