M 10 Air??

Are you inquiring about the m-10 Airwave suspension?

I installed it in a 600 IQ LX that I used primarily for long distance touring in Quebec. My installation included the on-board, push button activated air pump. It was set up to add, or dump air pressure in the airwave shock. Prior to that I had the stock M-10 with the "jack" on the sled.
Observations:
1. The ride was plush and easily adjustable on the fly.
2. My seat hight was about 2" higher than it was with the stock "poo M-10" setup. The extra seat height made the sled noticable "tippier" in the tight twisties. There was some adjustability for this issue.....I could run less air pressure, reducing ride height, but compromising ride quality.
3. In real cold weather (below -10F) i had trouble keeping air in the shock and I had the suspension colapse a number of times when hitting jumbo g bumps while riding at higher speeds.

I removed the Airwave at the end of the first year and went back to the "poo M-10" setup with the jack.

Thanks for that review. Was the "Air Wave" an upgrade to your OE M-10, using the stock rails? Did FAST have any comments for you?

a friend of mine has the air m10 in his indy, and it rides great for him, the only thing is that it needed to be tinkered with for awhile to get the air pressure right. He also had a leak in it once and his didn't come with an air compresser, so he has to tote one around. He also had the spring m10, but that ended up breaking at one point or other.
