G4/G5 uses a shorter shaft than the XP, so you need to get a G4 Team shaft to be able to use your clutch. Team shafts are not solid so they can't be shortened.
The Team Tied will also not fit under the plastic "clutch shrouding" on the clutch guard so that needs to come off or be cut/modified some.
I ran mine on my previous two G4s, -19 850 and -22 600R, but hasn't bothered putting it on my current -22 850 yet. (originally got it for my -11 Freeride back in the days, it has probably well over 10000km on it by now and is still in great shape)
