team tied with heavy heel weights

Has anyone ran the team tied secondary with heavy heel weights particularly mds? Mds recommends a stock secondary with their setups but I'm curious what kind of gain you could see with a team tied. Have read lots of great info on both of these clutch setups but nothing about how they work together. Thanks for any info!

I've never tried anything but stock weights in my primary with my Tied secondary.

Whats your elevation?

Ive been running mtx with a tied secondary. Around sea level to 4 k. Works pretty good. Pm IQrider he set me up with it.

i am very interested to see how the team tied clutch work's with the MDS weight's!

or which one give's the best performance gain,

MDS or team tied

I have a clutching setup that works very well for me on a 163 riding 8-10K with mtx primary setup and TSS-04. I have a tied and can't get it to match the performance of my TSS-04 setup (not stock helix or spring), verified against my buddies sled for comparison with different Tied setups, leaving his sled stock. I got tired of buying helixes for the tied and just went with the TSS-04 most of last season.

Maybe I will play with it again this winter, but I just do not see the performance gain, and I would not buy it again as I feel there are other modifications that are better value for the money. The Tied does feel smoother but I do not notice any cooler belt temps or quicker shifting than a properly setup TSS-04...my $.02

The off the shelf setup I've been selling for sea level- 4k is a 73/59 or 73/61 depending on track length and rider weight, definitely 73/59 works well up to about 7k from my experience, can't speak for higher than that. Black/purple secondary spring with delrins on each side of the spring. About 71-72 grams total weight on the mtx's.

setup today is 11-68 blu/pink stock helix and black/purple but converting to tied and want an exit point in setup for that.
