I called SLP to order a Team Tied secondary for my 17' Axys 163x3, but they said they didn't have their specs out yet.

Is it any different than the '16 setup?

I wanted to get the clutch on before my West Yellowstone trip in 2 weeks .... What setup is everyone running on the Team Tied secondary on the newer Axys sleds?

BTW - Sled is bones stock except for an SLP can.

Run stock clutching as per manual, its as good as it gets, theres no magical kit or clutch out there..

they say 64-60 .33 stock black spring other angle 62-58 .33 btw

I guess what I am getting at is, I had an older Paragon clutch on my 13' Pro and once I got it dialed in that clutched worked very well, it built track speed noticibly quicker than the stock secondary clutch ..... My understanding is the Team Tied clutch operates on the same principle, but its also significantly less money ...

Sounds like some of you guys don't really like it?

Hmmm IDK, maybe I'll give it a shot and just see ...

For what it's worth, I had a car roller secondary in my old Gen II mod, Lt. Dan.
Switched to the Tied and ran SLPs clutching...upshifted better, back-shifted better, clutches were cooler.
And I was happier.

I have no idea if the 2017 Axys stock clutching can be improved for your riding or your snow conditions, but it was better for my chassis and snow, so it worked for me.

After some thinking, and having run the tied, its one of those things that really should work better than it does compared to the normal clutch,:face-icon-small-con:face-icon-small-con I think the biggest issue is 1) lack of perfect setup information out there and 2) you spend your 400+ bucks and then it works the same or worse than the normal clutch till you get it dialed in perfect, so there goes another 2-3 helixes and springs, so your in this thing like 600+ bucks and now it does in fact work slightly better on the backshift that the stock clutch does, :face-icon-small-dis:face-icon-small-dismaybe cooler belt temps. However what belt temp it in fact to much on a well set up stock type clutch? I've had zero belt issues with tss04 turbo, ect, so kind of a moot point really. I could care less how hot it runs as long as it does not malfunction or break.

I guess all in all its a nice clutch that should work better than it does and it gives us something more to mess with, mine comes out of its box a few times a season then goes back to rest lmao :face-icon-small-sho:face-icon-small-ton:face-icon-small-ton:face-icon-small-ton
