Team tied secondary

For those of you running team tied secondary can you explain the differences between this and the stock secondary. Is it worth the $$? I run from 1500 to 11000 ft. What advantages are you seeing? I run mds weights but my secondary is bone stock

It is 110% worth the money!!! Last year I would pack 3 to 4 spare belts a ride. The first two rides this year I went out trying to blow belts and I couldn't.

Any idea why? I'm assuming deflection and alignment were good for both setups?

yes an 800. The team floats on the shaft. making the alignment less of an issue. I feel this is a large contributor to it.

Thanks for your feedback, I believe belt blowing was more common on the 800 than the 1100. Looking for some feedback from 1100 riders who rode both stock and with the team tied.
Thanks

Team Tied...

Oneoldfart has it on his 1100 with the bc250 kit. Pm him.
Yes, I am running the Team Tied on My M1100 w/ BC 250 kit. Racin Station provided the clutch already set up, so I'm not going to comment on helix angle or spring (he has to eat, too).
In the primary I am running 91g with MDS weights, TP glide washers, and a Polaris gold spring (100/270) I think. Super smooth engagement, great upshift and backshift.
I've not seen any belt wear from this setup, but I only have about 250 miles on it (about 50 of them was breaking trail in snow headlight deep). This combination is a winner in my books.
JustBoostIt has also had good sucess in clutching the M1100's with OEM parts, I don't believe he's had any belt issues, and his builds haul as$.
Is the tied worth it? Over stock, certainly. Clutches are cooler, power transfer appears to be more efficient. Is there better setups out there? Very possible, and bear in mind that clutching is never "bolt on and go", there are always gains to be had depending on rider weight, mods, and riding style.
