Hey guys! My buddy bought a used Team Secondary for his 04 Rev 800, it did not come with the shims. I know on my zx I had to put two shims on my jackshaft with my Team Secondary. Do I have to add shim, and remove stalk shims?
Thanks guys!

Shims

I put a team on my 07 summit and left the stock shims in place and added a couple to eye ball it close. But I also put a floating kit in it to allow the team to self adjust to be where it wants to be - seems hoky but it actually works quite well as my belt wear and clutch temps have both improved since doing it. The float kit is just a spacer that allows the clutch to move back and forth on the shaft and self adjust.

On my 07 i got rid of the huge concave spacer then added .09 of shims ontop of what was there stock. Not sure if its the same for 04. Ditto the floating pin. Do it to every sled I own.

I added 3 spacers, it's still not right though it's close. It's going to change per sled. I should probably float it as well.
