Me and a harpdog trucked out to Idaho last Saturday. First day of riding today after a ****storm of a ride.
Yes, there is an interstate somewhere here. It'll take more than that to stop the Walls powered Dmax!
Here we have 800 RMK, Stovebolt, Advantage801, Treecutter and Jeb (not sure if he posts here?) Thanks guys for an awesome day. We'll ride with you any time!
On to day 2 and Black Canyon.
Day 3....
Today I was less of a tree magnet and back to breaking ****. 45 miles into the hills my BDX 2 wheel axle decided it was time to snap. I had to leave my riding partners and go get parts from the cabin to fix it up. That's the last of the BDX junk on my sled.
The white Rev is BackCountryBabe from BCR. It was great to meet you. I'm glad we could show you around some places you haven't seen.
Day 4....
We took a break from the mad pow today and did some adventuring into an area we've never been. Most of the riding was trails, with a few jaunts off around the Sawtelle area.
Day 5....
We took it easy today as we had to make repairs on Bill's sled. We took BackCountryBabe to Mesa Falls and made a sacrifice to the snow gods and put in an order for a bluebird day.
Day 6........(insert angels singing here)
We both got a killer sunburn and spent hours and hours tearing up the endless untracked snow. We even found some areas I don't think many people know about or venture in to. Maybe we weren't supposed to be there? I didn't see any closures on the map, but anything is possible.
We had an awesome time and couldn't have asked for much more. It was great meeting everyone and we look forward to coming back in a few weeks if the snow is good!
