Team Clutch on a XP

I bought a XP 154 and I have the same problems listed here time and time again. I love the sled when it run good, and has a freshly broken in belt, after the belt start losing chunks of cord the preformance goes down hill. My dealer will not give me new belts any longer say he is out. He also seem to think that the gear change is a waste of time. I was just wondering if you guys think that THIS new belt will be a fix or just a band-aid. Will the Team Clutch be a fix if I spend the money, at this point money is not a huge issue, I just want my sled to run and not over rev or break belts.

IMO you can get just as good clutching w/o shelling out $700 for new parts. The stock clutching on these sleds sucks, any kit will be a benefit. I would recommend Dynamo Joes kit. If your alignment is out aint no fancy $700 clutch and shaft going to help you.

Read lots of good thing about the DJ kit and that Joe makes himself available to help his customers....thought about going with one this year...but did not see one in action early on

Used Team clutches on doo's for 4 years now and never once broke a belt...changed a few belts from wear only.

Have a new 800 XP with a Team clutch...pulls incredible and have had zero issues with heat or wear

BRP has not figured this one out at all..if money is no issue...lose the BRP p.o.s

DJs kit is plug and play, TEAM is plug and tune.....and they screwed DJ, so TEAM gets no love from me

IMO, a TEAM clutch is like a billet gas cap, looks pretty buy it does the same thing

Revnek...what did you do to the driven clutch? I like the idea that the Team secondary uses a different drive shaft and that it can't weigh that much more for the comfort of not losing a drive shaft on a hard pull a long way from home. Goose

The jackshaft from a 08 600 RS will go right into any XP. I love how Team thinks they came up with something special. Put this shaft in and run any splined Doo secondary you wish
