Team adjustable rooster weights

has anybody had to shim their clutch to make these weights work? it seams with these weights installed the outer part of the clutch wont open all the way. I installled ploaris weights and the clutch will open more. The fly of the weights in good i just think they are to thick

Yes you have to reshim to .015-.020 belt to sheave.

Also you can only add 1 small bolt and 1 small washer to the hole closest to the pin.

Just for reference, I brought my clutches into the shop to get shimmed and they ended up shimming .081" to get .015" belt/sheave clearance.

Without the shims, the belt will be snug/tight at idle because the sheaves are too close together. My stock setup had a .020" shim in there, now its at .081" (sheaves farther apart). I could see it causing issues on the low end as well as wrecking your belt in a hurry.

....but it shouldn't affect how the belt sits in the driven/secondary, right?
