TCP Walker Evans W/Res Fit Original IQ Front

I was told that making Walker Evans Needles with Remote Reservoirs from Tri-City Performance fit on the original IQ front end might require trimming. As you can see they fit without any cutting of the plastics and can still be easily adjusted...Wahoo! Should be a great upgrade from the stock WE Airs. If anyone has any advice on the 16 position clicker adjustments, I'd like to hear what has worked for you in different riding conditions.

The trimming your talking is about is when they grind the top inside corners on the shock assembly, just beneath where the bolt goes through the bracket

No, I'm talking about the plastic on the outside fender. The top of the shock clears fine, including room for the heim joint to allow shock movement. The front fenders on the 09 and newer models does not have the outer lip that covers the remote reservoir. Take a look at JKinzers build thread to see the big difference.

Oh 10-4 I know what your saying now.
I'm trying the forum app on my iPhone, I can blame the misunderstanding in that.

Pray for snow

Will the reservoirs rub at full compression though?

As the suspension compresses, the bottom edge of the reserviors tilt up and out towards the outside lip of the fender but it does not hit....close, but doesn't. If you want more clearance you could always heat up the plastic a pull out the fender slightly.

I did the same thing and was concerned they wouldn't fit my 08 D7 sO I went to a dealer and looked at some 2010 models with these same shocks on it. If I remembered correctly there wasnt much difference in the clearance. Maybe and I mean maybe .25"
