Taylor Made Clubs

I love these things, they play amazing. Ive converted my whole bag, but mostly because i broke three(3) clubs and one week later there was a new one at my door, GREAT customer service.....

discuss.

My grafite wilson's play great 2. When i get time to play!

Everything in my bag except my putter is a Taylormade. Like them very much. Haven't had the need to check out their customer service. (Control the old temper and you don't need to use the customer service :>). )

I had the Taylor Made Rac irons for 5 years, and just upgraded this year to the TM Tour Burner Irons. I've had several drivers made by them, including the Burner which I still have. I still prefer the Cobra Drivers. They do make an awesome product though. :beer;:D

Had the RAC's as well. Never loved them. Especially disliked the grips. Not saying that they are not a good club, just that they weren't right for me. Went to Ping i3's. Love 'em. Driver is Titleist, but will be shopping for a new one soon and am considering the Taylor Made.

Anybody else hit a Callaway X series fairway wood? Bought one last year and love it.

I run all Taylor Made drivers & fairway woods. I LOVE my R7 Draw's. I tried all kinds of irons including RAC irons, Calaway x18, & Calaway x20. I was really up in the air between the x18's & the Rack's. I decided on the x18's & love them now. At first I think I was scard to hit them(because they are the most expencive clubs I've ever owned), but after a few rounds with them, I love them. I still need a lot more time on the driveing range with my R7's. A lot of the time, I'm not sure where the drive is going. Either straight down the middle to the left or to the right. I just need more time the them.

Summitone shoots the Calaway X fairway woods & driver. He speaks very highly of them. They just didn't feel good to me.

I've had my X driver for 2 yrs now. Just bought a X 3 wood 2-3 weeks ago. Love it.

Just bought some NIKE CCI irons about a month ago. I like 'em but I think they're a 1/2 club to a club less in distance than my 8 yr old Golden Bear irons.

I've accepted the fact that my golf game sucks and maybe it's just me and not my irons... :face-icon-small-win

The Calloway FTi Driver is a sweet club. I just can't see paying $500 for 1 club yet. I looked at the X20 irons last month, when I was buying, and there nice too. I hit them about the same distance, but had a better trajectory with the TM's. My uncle bought the X fairway woods, and he seems to hit them really well. I think it's more in the player than the club any more. What ever looks good to your eye, and feels good in your hand. Now putters are a different story. I think I tried 10 different putters before I found one that I really liked.

I tried the FTi when I bought my last driver. I know I just hit it a few times(maybe 25 balls), but I couldn't get used to looking at this big square headed driver.

& the differant sound that they make.............WOW

As for drivers, im playing a R7 super quad stiff shaft, i played with the wieghts and can hit a draw or a fade if i set it up, prtty cool....

I never bought into the whole weight thing. I figured it would be better to just learn how to hit it straight, then turn your body one way or the other for a draw or fade. If you have a slicers swing, there's no club out there that's gonna make you hit a draw all of a sudden. You need to change the way the ball is spinning off the club face.

my thoughts exactly! i didnt get the club for that, i got the club for the distance it gave me. and i do hit it upretty dam straight, its just fun for ****s and gigles to mess with them every now and then.....

You never said how you broke it. Hit a bad shot, and it just broke? :D

my driver got a indent on the top, that turned into a small crack, then one drive is spider webed all over the club head, new one no questions asked...then a sandwedge that due to my getting it shallow crack the shaft, new on no qquestion, finally a 3 wood that got driven over, new one of course....

I've got a "guy" that goes to China and buys em. $450 delivered. Pretty sweet. I think the factory just doesnt finish them as well and sells them out the back door.

My father hits the RAC and really likes them. I've swung them and they are nice (just don't like graphite shafts on my irons).
I'm rockin Mizuno which like the TM's will replace your sticks if they break (head went flying off my 7 iron while trying to poke one out of the dirt). I also broke the bottom sole plate of my Adams RPM driver, and Adams sent me a brand new upgraded Insight BUL driver. I had a high dollar graphite low torque shaft of which they mounted for me. Both companies paid shipping and quick turn around time.

Nice to have these companies that take some pride in their product.
