One month and it's time for BO to can all the cabinet secretaries and start over. I would just as soon get rid of him too but after spending over 600 million to buy it he probably won't quit so easily. Limbaugh just said " revolution is in the air". makes no sense. The more miles you drive the more gas, equals you pay more tax for how much you drive. If you have a high MPG car, it's causing less tear and wear on the rode, therefore the gas tax you pay should be correct for your damage to the road.

I told my wife this a few months back. If they want to track my miles driven and collect off that, she can come see my ace in jail. I AM NOT gonna let the government into my life like that when I all ready pay a gas tax. Ticket me all you want I will sit in court all day and fight that kind of intrusion.

Along the same line, what do you think OnStar is.....just another way for the government to get in your life and exercise control. If OnStar can unlock your car and find out where you are, what's to keep the powers from taking that and tracking you or the cops from getting your car shut off if you are driving?

Washington is looking at this as well as taxing by the number of cylinders, I think it is Bill No. 1490. Everyone must contact their Reps and senators to stop this bill to move co2 emissions below the 1990 level, all of course based on a lie, man-made global warning. Swampy

I did not read the whole article, so i'm sorry if this was in there. The Dictators have all these regulations on the auto builders, Polution standards being the biggest one. Pushing for more fuel efficient cars, they are now realizing that if cars get better fuel milage they won't get as much money in taxes from fuel. This is there way of recouping there money.

If they want to put the GPS in my car, hummm. You remember how quick those kids hacked satellite TV, and IPhones, and whatever. Well, if it's got a data port, it's hackable. And, if that won't work. Well, there's always this

Wrap it around the antenna, and the poor GPS won't see a signal. But, you'll have to hack the mileage counter in the computer, to keep them from catching you.

The government can't win a tech war with hackers. So, go ahead and try. They'll spend a fortune trying. Put a bunch of otherwise honest people in jail.
