Okay guys, this winter was my first running a boondocker turbo system. These are newby questions, so if anyone has a little time to help me out I would really appreciate it:-) I have the gt25 setup and can't seem to get really good answers from anyone! From what I understand is I should be able to run up to 16lbs of boost with the turbo only producing real power up to 14lbs. I've been running a 50/50 mix of premium and race fuel. Do I need to have a head shim put in or anything else if running over 10lbs? I installed 2 Cool Air Vents to take some of the heat out. Seems to do a good job, but whole system seems to run better after everything has warmed up for a while? Last question, I installed a duckbill right before the turbo on the bottom of the intake. After running in the deep pow for long periods, some water develops right @ the elbow before it dumps into the turbo. I have double and triple checked for a snug fit on everything and made sure there are no cuts or tears on the prefilter. Anyone else seeing this happen? I would really appreciate any feedback on these questions!

I think you are fine on your fuel mix with that turbo. You certainly don't need a shim with it. Turbo's will always run better after warmed up. Even with a pre filter, you are going to get water through. I wouldn't worry about that at all. Just look at it as water injection;)

Appreciate the feedback!

Thanks for the info:-) There's nothing better than gaining knowledgeable information from someone that knows their chit. Hope to see you on the hills someday. After running a turbo, I would never even consider switching back to the ole' 2-stroke mods.

I've got quite a few friends from Ohio! Noticed you were a Buckeye fan! Kudos to ya. Hope this season goes well for them as I am now a Buckeye supporter. Amazing the influence friends have on a person. Rode the Snowy Mountains on Sunday. Awesome riding for May conditions. 1 foot of fresh on top of cement, but better than twiddling thumbs @ home wondering if!
