TApex 18lbs peaking 20 what fuel mix?

I have the boondocker Garret 2871 turbo with the reccomended JE boondocker kit low compression pistons and I want to run 18lbs with peaks at 20lbs.

Also has the Big boondocker Injectors.

Can I run 50/50 110 Sunoco / 91 octane?

We ride 8000' and above up to close to 11000'.

Been running my Rx1 at 20 pds of boost . 100 percent Avgas . no probs . I highly recommend gettin a parker Knock box for peace of mind . I don't have one .........but I know what these engines sound like when they "ping" ....haven't heard it yet . Mine has three stacked headgaskets as well as low comp pistons though so I may be a little lower with my compression ratio . I don't use any pump gas of any kind mixed or not.

18 + lbs don't even consider using pump gas. 100ll or straight race!

What would you say is the highest boost a guy should run with low compression pistons and a 50/50 mix of 91/110 at 8000 to 10500 elevation?

At that boost why even try mixing it's only $10 more per ride or so not worth it if you ask me.

I wouldn't run more than15lbs. Safer than sorry

Going Straight 110 Sunoco and sticking with 18lbs of boost.

with 9.1 pistons at your elevation you can run 18 lbs. on 100 octane.

straight C-12 is only 108 octane.

Just don't mix if you want to run that kind of boost .
All the guys who blow up 2 or 4 stroke seem to be mixing fuels, very seldom have I seen sleds blown up on straight race fuel

I think I have settled for straight race gas, probably 110 Sunoco.
