Was gonna head down this afternoon but heard the Denver gun show was at capacity by early morning and they started doing 1out-1in with the line about 11am. I don't ever remember a line for a gun show.

Anti-hero and I went down.
Got there at 10. You couldn't find a place to park. the entire place was full.
We had to follow a guy out and wait for him to back out before we could park.

Heres the bad part.
very few of the booth owners take credit cards.
I talked to one guy that went to buy a 50 cal.. Full set up. 3k. The booth owner wanted CASH. Who the heck carries 3k in cash?

The place was PACKED. We had a heck of a time just walking around.
Most of the people there were looking for high capacity hand guns and ammo.
Found a great deal on an M-14 and Hero picked up a high capacity 9m pistal.

There were some great prices but most were inflated. Things like M1 garands for 1200. Nothing special about em other than they are popular. Saw more russian and chinese assault weapons than i have ever seen in my life. AR-15's out the wazoo.

Went to brass pro shops after the show.
just wanted to pick up a small amount of ammo and to look at some other stuff. They can't keep 9m or 38 ammo on the shelves. The guy was putting some out when we got there and there was litterally people standing there picking it up as fast as he could put it out. He said they can't keep ammo in. Their shelves looked 2/3 empty.

most places couldn't keep ammo in stock even before the election, now its just damned impossible to find ammo anywhere. Doesn't help that all the remanufacturers will be out of business now that the DOD has mandated that all brass be destroyed and sold as scrap......

To the best of my knowledge, that didn't go anywhere.
That plan was rejected.
