tanker truck crashes off a bridge.. KABOOM! MORE PICS!!

tanker truck crashed off a highway bridge about 3 miles from my house yesterday.. landed on the road below and the whole thing is toasted.. bridge, truck, apparently the driver survived.. .. traffic is a fawkin nightmare!! its one of 3 routes that get you south from here... the highway is closed for weeks they say so, now everyone has to go thru town.. NIGHTMARE!!!

just thought of something.. had this happened about a 1/4 earlier.. would have been really bad.. tanker truck full of gas or oil in the river that leads to the gulf..

What's worse is that the bridge may not be safe any more, and need to be replaced. Here in MN after the 35W collapse we have 3-4 more bridges close the are expensive...

yep.. they opened one side of it (north bound) today.. they say the other side will be at least a couple weeks.. maybe months pending inspection..
