Tampico Wind speed Tuesday

According to the Yakima BLM Office, the sensors on Sledge Ridge just above our place registered 116 mph wind speed Tuesday evening. The way it blew here, I'm sure it did it on more than one occasion that night.

One of my coworkers lives in that area and his house got severe damage. I guess the roof and some walls were missing, 1/2 mile debris field.

Didn't get much sleep tuesday night, and Wednesday was no picnic either. Still windy today, and at least we got power back and none of the bridges washed out from the ice jams here on the creek. Got lucky this time.
