How much work is it to change out the stock riser with the taller Ski-Doo riser? Thinking about swapping mine out. Thanks!

I put an Isovibe on mine and it gave 2 inches and helps take the rigidity out of it. No problem with any wires or anything.

My wife wants 2 more inches now but I'm tapped out.:D

Mines the X package and I don't know if that makes a difference.

LOL Teth-Air!

Tell me a little more about what the Isovibe does. I have never seen one on a sled. Can you post a picture for me?

I put a 10" Doo replacement riser on mine, 49 bucks cheap !

repost

"Remove old riser:

THROTTLE:

* Remove circlip from throttle cable at the flipper.
* Disengage throttle cable from flipper.

WIRING:

* Remove windshield.
* Remove gauge cluster and unplug wiring.
* Remove console.

RISER:

* Unbolt riser, top and bottom.
* Remove wiring and throttle cable from riser.

Reverse procedure to install the new riser, making sure that there is enough slack in the wires, cable, and brake line to avoid binding. Test all functions while turning the bars from one side to the other, paying special attention to throttle function."

these are Canadian prices, they are made by Power Madd

Nice prtoduct, basically a rubber mounting kit that has flex that has adjustable flex by how tight you tighten the bolts,
.
Opps this one is actually called a Snow Vibe

I didnt remove the gauges or the console when I switched mine out. The only issue I had was that I had to run the throttle cable out the right side of the new riser so that it had enough slack to mount the lever next to the grip.

Hey Griz!

I put a 1 inch (25mm) riser on mine and its really nice. Ride a sled with out the riser and it feels like a polaris ;).......not that bad but you get the idea.

Hand gaurds are a must in cold weather!

Cheap too!

Hey Chaz~

Got my windshield painted up. Turned out really nice the second time. I wet sanded it with 1000 and then 1500 grit.

Where did you get the 1" riser? Can you snap me a picture?
