Anyone ran a Tall or Extra Tall seat on the older style KTM seat pans? Would the extra 3/4 - 1 3/8 inches of foam density be worth it in extreme cold weather?

I'm currently running a XPC seat that has different material and wider foam but it gets wayyy to slick and hard in cold weather.


Also, is the standard seat concepts gripper seat material enough grip or should I go with a competition seat cover?

This place makes or has what you want... snowmobile cover material that doesnt get hard in the cold and softer foams so you dont have to have extra heifht that just makes it more difficult to get on the bike in the snow.

Don't think I knew SC made and xtra tall?




Anyways, I know the tall is not enough for my fat every where but my non existent white ***. Just barely better than stock, and pretty painful a long snowbike day.




So if you go SC, go xtra tall.




Or as mentioned, the Fisher. Know I'm ready to try a Fisher.

i don't know about the tall or extra tall but i have a regular comfort seat (the wide one) with the gripper top. I have not had a issue at all sliding around. And i ride in western Montana. Now that might also be the combo of seat and my klim pants too...
