Taking off M1000 stock can

Just wondering how hard it is to take off a stock can and then put on an aftermarket, has anyone else done this themselves? Thanks for the help

As long as your not going to a tunnel dump exhaust, it's real simple.

One slip pin and get your self a spring puller to do the springs.

some aftermarket silencers require you to drill some holes and run a couple extra bolts through, but if you can run a drill then you can change out your own silencer. All the ones i've ever seen give some great directions as well so take the time and have fun working on your sled :beer;

On my M7, the Skinz Ultra Q can required me to drill one hole for an extra spring and that was it. If you have the slightest of mechanical ability you should be fine, and as others have said, the instructions are usually really good.

MBRP can uses the same brackets, and goes onto the sled in seconds. Very easy. But if you are looking for a quiet can, I do not recommend this. Its very loud. I get a lot of complaints, because I carve mostly to the left :)

Jaws

In your purchasing decision, be sure to check out a Jaws can. By far the smallest and lightest I have seen and has a really nice sound that is not too loud. Goes great with my Speedwerx pipe and y-pipe!

Winner for dumbest post ive read all year. If you can't figure this out on your own, then you have no business opening the hood excepted to add oil.

going west

Going west i was just looking for a little info i dont want to mess up my new sled i put all my mods on my old sled (slp pipe can slp air intake) so instead of bashing on a thread how bout you learn how to type first, because your reply made no sense at all. Secondly do you not have anything better to do than sit on your computer and criticize posts.
Thanks everyone else for your help.

Uhhhmm, I'm about the last one to bash but it is a rather dumb and self explanatory question:D at least I got a laugh out of it, Glad to answer though. Its Very easy! and Yes. Now if you want to know performance results and sound, that would be a more appropriate.

If you did the work on your old sled then why ask the question in the first place, its not like they reinvented the exhaust. Next time just use some common sense, and think for yourself. Maybe you could help me out. Do you know how hard it is to change ski rods. Im think of going after market and i dont want to install them wrong. Any info would be great, cause i dont think i could handle this with out getting some advice from the snow west crew.
