x3 on just remove the bolt and pull the whole secondary off. I don't understand why once you have the bolt out you would mess with prying the cap off and puting the bolt back in?
Changing the belt on an M7 without any tools is SIMPLE. Just twist the sheaves apart and take it off. The best part is that you can still change a belt if you forget or lose your tools. If you cant figure this one out, good luck when something goes really sideways a long way from the truck...
wished I would have thought of that when I blew a belt and had 3 huge knots down in there I couldn't cut out. What a pain and ruined a whole day. Had to get towed back and use a clutch spreader to get the crap out.
