Taking Apart Secondary Clutch

hello. i tried installing my new clutch kit today. i got everything in the primary installed. when i got the secondary off i was stumped. i got the helix off ok but i got stumped after that. how do i get the rest apart so i can put a new spring in? i also broke the adjustment bolt off too so that needs to be replaced. i'm hoping if i can get it apart, there will be enough to grip to get the bolt out. really need some help because the sled is sitting in my garage taking up my trucks spot.

You need a special tool, might be able to make one with some plate and allthread. Picture-it's the taller tool upper right. After you compress the roller assembly you remove a snap ring and then back off the pressure. The roller cage and the shaft have a double spline that have to match for reassembly. Why are you changing the spring? The stock driven spring seems to work very well.

It's very important that the first time you adjust the belt tension that you first slightly open the secondary with the tool then heat the adjuster bolt a little back off the jam nut and then screw in the bolt.
