Taking apart 07-08 d-drive

I found some brass in the oil when doing the maintenance on my 07 M8. The dealer replace the drive in 08 and it has about 600 miles on it. Just last year I changed the planet in my other sled no big deal, but I can't seem to get this one apart. Does anyone have pictures of how to take apart the gears? I know you have to pull a bearing to get started, but did Cat change the drives from 07 to later in 08?

Somewhere there is pictures someone took step by step as to how it comes apart and goes back together. Only problem is I think I seen that on BCR's site, might want to check there. It could have also been on snow and mud too. Sorry I drink far too much to have a good memory. I remember after seeing it that I should remember where I seen it. Oh well order hard to find good help these days!

What exactly are you trying to get apart? I don't think the planetary can be pulled apart its one unit and will have to be replaced as a whole, If all looks good clean it up and put it back together and ride change the oil often, the brass is from the shims but a bit in the oil is normal it seems, if shims look good put it back together and go with it. AC has a kit it comes with gasket, oil and shims for compensation of the gasket i would change to a better 6203 bearing skf 6203 2rsj is what i used,
