Take 2 mins and send this letter to oppose more wilderness.

Done, thanks Jeff for the heads up, everybody that loves our sport should spend a few (minutes) to send a letter, it doesn't hurt a bit. Well it does hurt if you don't sign and send.

Done and I asked my friends to do it also. We NEED to do this stuff as much as possible, the people trying to take OUR land from us do this all day long...Over and over.

Save your ambition for another day

THIS BILL IS ALREADY DEAD LEGISLATION

I signed this in the other thread in land use, but it has been brought up that this is no longer in congress.... this bill died without passing at the end of 2010 with the end of the 111th Congress.

H.R. 980:

Northern Rockies Ecosystem Protection Act
111th Congress

This is a bill in the U.S. Congress originating in the House of Representatives ("H.R."). A bill must be passed by both the House and Senate and then be signed by the President before it becomes law.

Bill numbers restart from 1 every two years. Each two-year cycle is called a session of Congress. This bill was created in the 111th Congress, in 2009-2010.

This bill never became law. This bill was proposed in a previous session of Congress. Sessions of Congress last two years, and at the end of each session all proposed bills and resolutions that haven't passed are cleared from the books. Members often reintroduce bills that did not come up for debate under a new number in the next session.

Number 212. I realize this bill is already dead, and has little chance with an R house. But I want it to stay dead! This will be an ongoing problem, everytime there is an election that goes against us.

It does little good sending letters to Democratic politicians as they probably do not have your vote and there are many more that vote for them in favor of wilderness designation of land and limiting access to the likes of us all the while the foot traffic is much more detrimental. I have evidence of environmental impact in areas considered too critical to allow public motorized access but is being raped in the name of the schools and protected by strong democratic roots in this state with the aid from unions and tribes, as they are the financial beneficiaries. I will post the stuff on here as I send it to the Republican Politicians and the Media. I work for Environmental Protection and Rehabilitation, and it is deplorable the “Ponzi Scheme” that the Environmental movement and hypocritical – and/or stoned people who rabidly support it as some sort of accomplishment.

225th from washington

we have about 100,000 acres of wilderness per tree hugger isn't that enough!
