Tail flap in the way?

Here is a little trick for those using ramps and SkiDoo Summits. The tail flap gets caught under the track as we back off our ramps; the easy solution was to cut about 3" off (right where BRP has a line across the bottom part) but then there was a problem with cooling.

This little trick solves all of that and works with the XP and the XM sleds. I assume it will also work with the new T3 whether it be a 163 or a 174.

Ya I'm glad I cut mine looks way better then what they had and I have no issues with cooling. Great idea tho and video

Or just turn the flap inside out like they are designed to do.

That is step #1 and then take the tail and fold it under the bumper.

The way you show it in the picture, isn't enough to prevent the tail flap from going under the track on the steeper ramps and particularly when unloading in heavy snow. Thanks for pointing it out tho'.
