Thanks to everyone who has ordered our 610 kits for snowbiking.
The subject of Tail lights came up a few weeks ago with a customer who needed a headlight and a tail/brake light to legally ride in his state. For him we made up a few penetrator kits with rear taillights and brake lights for a KX.
Do any other here feel this is of any value? are tail lights required in your state?

MT?

thats where the first 3 setups went.
MT also requires a headlight, (I got stopped last year) and Im sure many more states.

MT you say? Oh no is this true guys? Where were u offroadrider cooke? This is going to suck if its true. I guess itl be Ktm's for me going forward! Would a battery powered one suffice or does it have to be some dot approved crap or what! Or was it some snocop with a hard on to write a ticket just making up the law? Thanks in advance. By the way nice products you have!

I got jacked at cooke, didnt get a ticket, he says he let me slide:face-icon-small-sho not for the tail light but not having a headlight.
you dont need dot just something that lights up
There are laws about headlights on snowmobiles in many states, enforcement may be another issue

Ive spent some time this afternoon looking into a few states laws..
I'm kind of wondering why I was hassled in MT. there law states that lights are only required during the periods from dusk till dawn. I was hounded in the middle of the day.. whats up Cooke city??

Thanks for doing that off road rider. I understand the need for lighting in the more populated areas for safety. For the race bikes without lighting capabilities is a battery powered small one gonna suffice say in cooke or west yellowstone? Maybe a battery one on stobe that would last up to 6 or 8 hrs would be cheap insurance?

What race bikes are you using? we have kits that run from efi systems and also stator kits for many others. lastly we also offer battery powered lighting systems.
