I'm running a TM8- 174X25CE

10 lbs on avgas Twisted xtreme with Cold air intake, it's the 3071. it runs HARD.

Super nice. How do you like the 36" front end?

I've only been out one weekend with the 36" front end and didn't have my shocks back yet. But so far I love it. Very responsive. Takes way less counter steer to initiate carves. My buddy on the pro rode it (who came off a m1000) said it felt like a 200 hp Sno bike. It's a very nimble sled now. Can't keep up to his mtntk pro since he turned the boost up to 12 lbs( he hates getting beat) but I think I can pick some lines he will have trouble following! Had a chance to compare it to a T3 174 who was still in break in mode. Mine defiantly was better but that T3 is impressive for a stock sled.

Does it feel like your ski pressure is a bit heavy running that drop bracket on the back? Did you add reinforcement to the tunnel by the suspension brackets since the bumper doesn't go all the way up there now?

Looks awesome.

But don't forget the rear bump stops on the rails, dont want to be bottoming into the rails, that will crack them in short order.

Happy sledding.

Yes I ran 1/4 " aluminum plate from the bumper to the rear bracket.
Steering is good with the drop bracket. Dropped the front skid to the bottom hole also. Gives more clearance for the 3" track from the coolers.

Just a little comparing against the mtntk pro running 12 lbs. Close for a little bit then game over me! Was a lot closer last year but he finally has his clutching dialed in.

I stretched my 09 to a 174.. I used the bare aluminum 12 pro climb bumper, its 12-15 inches longer.. The tunnel and bumper is 1 inch narrower at the tail so my tunnel extension was made narrower and it looks factory.. Ill try and get some pics up soon.

So I got out for a little rip and couldn't beleive how crappy my front end steered with the gripper skis. Tried adjusting my toe , tried straight ,tried toe out 1/2" and it would really grab and want to roll the sled. So I wasn't sure if it was the promotion or the grippers. Was easier to change the skis back to the Simmons and everything was good again. Not sure if it's because I had the grippers on the narrowest setting and the 36" front end made it that much narrower compared to the Simmons which rides on the outer edge? Any way just wondering if anybody else has expeiranced this or what I'm missing with the gripper skis?
