gen 2 in the early season for floatation, then switch to gen 1 for spring snow. simmons for me only, love the way they handle trails or boondocking.

Did not like the gen 2's so went back to stock.

Ha I went to Gen2's and sold my stockers for 50 bucks couldn't stand them! weird!

I like the stability and the fact that they soak up some of the bumps. A wild child or a OFT racing relocation is a definate asset when running these!!

i run Mods most of the time and gen 2 on the deep days. I find Mods to be the best ski for turning while going downhill.

When I'm on the gas they all handle the same :D When I let off I like the Gen 2's. I also like the flotation for boondocking. Try them. Personally if I didn't run the Gen 2's I would probably just run the stockers after trying a few others. It's all personal preference but for flotation it's the Gen 2

simmons gen 1 for me really like them in all condition last year from deep snow to trail, would love to try the gen2.

I run slydog too, again great flotation and feel, but they are twitchy on hard pack....

Simmons Gen 1's have my vote, I've rode an Apex and a Nytro with Gen II's, I wouldn't give you 5 cents for for a pair, worst skis I've ever used. I borrowed a set of Slydogs from Gunner:beer; year before last, I thought they were a great ski.

Stock for me. Gen II for my dad on his. I tried slydogs and i'd rather run with no skis than them

My son had the Gen 1's on his Nytro. We both rode it and put the stockers back on. Also tried the Slydog's and not overly impressed. To each their own, that's why there's choices :)

I really like my powder pro's. Only time they get a little weird is down hill on spring snow.

Ppd m-xt

I have a set of PPD M-XT's would like to sell anyone interested? Black with white swirls.

I have ran gen I's and II's.. Really like both of them! Ive riden slydogs. Hard to beat 2 keels on the trail.. Then again, for the guys that are worried about weight, Slydogs are the way to go. Its gona be a toss up when it comes time to buy skis this year..

I run slydog's. I found they have great flotation and feel, but they can be a little darty on the hard pack....they are a little lighter as well, with great flexibility.
