T Nytro gearing

Looking for some info on gearing up a T Nytro. Anyone gear up one of these or can you? Currently running stock gearing and PL Stg 2 with shock wave and Dave's weight package(not sure what that is) 2,000'-7,500'. Seems like the power is there for it.

I know some people are running 22-40 with a diff. chain. Stock is 20-40. I geared down to 19-40 then went back to 20-40. I personally have not went above 20-40. From what I have heard, the 22-40 does work well. Mark, the mcx US distributor is running 22-40 on his nytro. But he has also been running at 27-28 lbs.

Ya think it takes that much boost to turn a 22t over a 20t? I'm running 10-12lbs and clutching right out as it is. I'm running 153" too though and I guess most would be turning 163.

I was told that 12-14 lbs will turn the 22 tooth gear just fine. But like I said before, I have not tried it.

Gearing

I have the stage 2 PL kit as well. This year I geared it down to 19/40, great bottom end but tops out a little quick. I might try 20or21/40 and see how it goes. Running a 162" CE @ 12pounds boost. I've read others burned up clutches and belts geraing up so be careful, and watch out for slippage and excess heat.
