T motion delete whats the deal

Really? How long have you been riding? It makes a HUGE difference.
Been riding both for over 3000km a year. Its no difference for me..I have no problems on either setup. But have seen the lockout bushings cause more failures than anything.
However if they stopped making tmotion and went back to a solid set up id be thrilled. I'm not a fan of the linkage and the weak point it creates at the tmotion joints. The bushing is not the answer, it doesn't make enough difference if any to justify making that joint any weaker. If you wanna delete tmotion do it the right way with the parts off an XP or the Skinz kit if they still make that. But to me thats to much money to spend for something thats probably in your head.

Okay I got the lockout washers in with a zrp zmotion rear link and have been worried about em after hearing about the failures and am debating buying the zbros delete with the arms that bolt up. Any reason why that lockout wouldn't work with that 3/4 offset rear link? Anyone got any reviews on the zbros lockout?

The lockout helps hold a steeper side hill because the boards are so wide. By locking it out keeps the boards from contacting the snow so quick and washing out.
Skinny boards and you won't lock it!

Many complain about washing out over ruts/tracks when I think it has more to do with cashed out ski bushings. You hit an old track and the ski shoots uphill and the track is gonna follow.
When I swapped out to Durapros the sled became much more stable and predictable on a sidehill.

Would you mind elaborating on this?

What parts are replaced, and what new parts are needed?

Just go to durapros website and order a set of bushings. Take the ski off, take out the stock bushing, put in the durapro and put the ski back on. I cut the bushing/spacer in half and reinstalled with the ski centered. You dont have to do that, but it makes sense in my head.

When you see the consistency of rubber and how durable they really are, i think $80 dollars is pretty cheap to manufacture something like this. I mean you are always welcome to take the factory ones and try to make your own in a copycat way! To that I say good luck!

Just get the durapro or keep fresh stock rubbers and center your spindle in the ski. Get a torsion delete from Zbros or elka and do a few push-ups here and there and it'll do 100× more for you than some bushings

Skinny boards, ZRP lift spindle, skinz post forward

Who makes skinny boards and are they worth a crap? the previous skins boards sucked.

I only know of Skinz and BM fab. I have personally not changed out boards on a Gen4. I did change them to skinz narrow on the XM, that was very noticeable.

I guess if I wanted a more narrow chassis, I would just get an Axys.

The ZRP washer style will not cause any failures. The washers will wear out first. The zbroz arms will bend if used with the Zmotion.

Those xm skins sucked, to skinny in the back.
I put pro boards on a xm and raised them up 2" then I preferred it to an axys. But my cats would still walk on it.
The g4 is such a better chassis , just needs the boards narrowed way up

What causes the Z motion link to bend the Zbroz arms? I have the zmotion link and am about to install the zbroz t motion delete.

I used to get this until i installed durapro ski bushings and centered the ski/bushings. I was very surprised how much better the sled handled from these two changes.

I just centered my skis with durapros and it looks almost like the bushing is being spread with this setup, just worried its going to be damaged. How have your bushings held up?

More than300 miles and they look great.
