anyone mess with e the stock gearing ??

changing the stock upper gear from a 20-T or changing the bottom from a
40-T and of course changing the chain from a 68-L ??

I asked juilio this question and he told me he was happy with the stock gearing and that it worked well. I belive thistledoo on here geared hid nytro down he sais it helped with belt heat. couple opinions for ya

Here in Sweden we get our Apex's geared 22/40, and it have worked fine, no belt slippage or heat in clutches, but this year i will try 20/40, maybe it gets even better throttle response.

I geared mine down to a 19-40.. Worked awsome pulled like a freight train.. And didn't loose much on the top speed either.. I would deffinatly do it again.. And you don't have to mess with the chain.. Then I changed it back after I installed a turbo.. Then it pulled like a rocket..
