Just wondering at what rpm is youre primary engaging on youre Turbo Apex? I was thinking about trying to bump it up a bit, would it be a good ideal to do so? I am running MCX rear mount 290kit. Thanks

I have the same turbo kit and mine comes in about 5K. Seems to work fine.

I take it you have a Apex MTX. Does it work good in the mountain, not to agressive?

First year with it but feels good. My Arctic cat mod engaged at 4600 rpm and hit hard. My Yamaha is smooth at 5K.
I think mine engages at 4000 and I like it for going slow in the trees.
Its causes a little lag because it engages so low but for the most part I like it.

my sidemount yamadoo comes in at around 4500 and it feels smooth as butter.. reason the higher RPM feel so much smoother on an apex is the gear reduction. so your engine is engaging at say 5000, but thats almost the same clutch speed as a non reduced clutch at 4k or so. food for thought.
