What do you guys and gals use on your synthetic rifle stocks to keep them from getting that whitish film on them?? Open for advice.

Thanks

i dont have a synthetic stock but after i get home everytime after the range or hunting i always clean my gun and oil it up.

I have 2 ruger synthetic stocks, one is from 1995 the other from 2005. no issues or problems. I have never cleaned the stocks or anything.

Yeah mine is a "2002" 300 Win Mag, I keep it wiped down without any type of solvent just water and a soft cloth but the film has started back again. Just trying to figure out what would keep the film from coming back....ie .. Armour All ? Plastic preservative? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks SB Chaser, that seemed to work, I thought about it but I thought the oil might affect the synthetic in some way..guess not..
