Synthetic Oil?

I recently bought an 05 REV. I previously had an 800 POO. I always ran Amsoil, a very high quality synthetic oil. I want to do what is best for my sled, is it going to hurt it to run amsoil? Or do I need to switch back to a Mineral based oil? Why?

I have tried all the oils. Syn, blend and petro. New seem any real difference in the wear. Standard amsoil left my power valves gummed up. Run Yamaha lube now. Very happy.

personally..i wouldnt waste my $$ on expensive 2s oils!

I've been running amsoil Interceptor for a while and love it. I didn't notice it building up on my power valves, plus it smells good! Also, a friend with a dealership helps out, makes it dirt cheap!

Thanks for the info, I am a dealer as well and I have been running interceptor. Seems to be working fine and its not that much more than doo mineral based oil. Thanks for the imput.
