Not sure about the plates, but you have the right bike.

I got one on my 450sxf. I like it. As I recall I drilled a few holes in the side panels and zip tie them snug. It makes oil changes a bit more of a hassle but the coverage (engine too) is worth it. The extra few minutes is worth it and gives me the chance to crack another before going back inside!
