SX track better in wet snow?

So where I live (southeast Alaska)deep dry powder days are few and far between. Mostly we have very heavy deep wet snow. I have been trying to decide between an ST or SX (going to look forUsed)and I was wondering if the SX as I understand it has a stiffer track, would that perform better than the ST track in the snow conditions I described?

The SX Works Great in set up spring stuff no doubt.

But 2 feet of soft wet coastal snow is hard on anything the only thing that works with that is lots of Flotation that means LT but as soon as it sets up the LT sucks and the SX is far better I am in the same boat that is why I long-tracked the SX. If you are over 200 pounds a 121 inch SX may be a bit light on flotation in soft coastal stuff.

One of our guys did a 12.5 wide Hawk Track on the ST that works well for him.

The SX track is a cut down hawk track right now, it is a much stiffer paddle
so it works best in set up snow but at 2.5 inches high it also works reasonably well in softer snow. I run a cut down challenger with 2 inch Paddles that work awesome in soft stuff but I do have more track spin once it sets up.

Pick your poison it is all way to much fun "just do it" you can make all of them work for you -- don't let the small stuff stop you.
