sx kit on trails

hey guys i am new to the sit and have done some looking on this topic but haven't found much at all. Im wondering if the sx kit is good on tight groomed trails, can it keep up with a sled in the twistes. thanks for the help.

As long as it isn't icy you won't have a problem. They might have trouble keeping up with you if it is fresh snow.

Sx would be the best kit for this. Just keep in mind the top speed will be slower than sleds but they are plenty fast. Get your buddies to get a kit and then you will really have some fun.

The SX would be a great option for that application. You can always gear it up if the trail contains lots of long straight stretches but you'll catch em in the turns. I usually go past sleds on our trails but they aren't groomed.

If the trail is twisty the sx will be faster than your buddies on sleds. As mentioned the sleds will be faster on long straights but that's it. The way the sx sucks up bumps & handles is amazing- we'll worth it IMO. Ride an st and sx to feel the difference and see what you prefer. The 15sx is impressive!

hitting up a fresh logging road with no chatter bumps or washboards on the bike.... oh man. its a good time. its like dirtbiking in potting soil. smooth as butter and amazing.

a little more scary and out of control if it gets icy, but if its just packed pow, working the edges and such, as long as its nothing more then short straight bursts, youll be hard pressed for guys to hang with you on the trial. it actually makes me not hate trail riding!

I rode 20 miles on my SX kit Friday - it was a blast. Kept up with the sleds no problem. May regear to get a bit more top end out of it, we'll see.
