Switching track on Nytro

I've been hearing alot of ppl switching the track around on the nytro mtx as the lugs are all curling up, they say that the lugs will straighten after the switch and stay that way.
I'm half way through the switch and cant get the axle out. Do the chain case need to be removed or should it slide out of the case?
Please help, any info would be awsome

Thanx

Does anyone have first hand knowledge that the lugs will straighten and stay straight?

The top 1/4" will curl back slightly on some of the lugs while running hard pack. Nothing near as bad as the standard position where the entire lugs folds!!

I still hate this track (too soft) and can't wait to change it entirely, but the slight curl might be OK in powder. I'll see next week as this is my next trip west with the track rotated. Only pounded hard packed ditches since the switch and this is what I have observed.

The track is a total piece of crap I think everybody should go to there dealer and ***** and tell them to call yamaha and ***** to them and maybe they will do something about it. My dealer is going to try and do something about it. It's worth a try.
