When changing brand of oil. Do you have to drain tank or just run it fairly low and add new oil. I have heard it is no good to mix oils.:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap

ive heard of a few cases where the oils dont like being mixed i would buy a hand pump at oreillys or autozone for 6 bucks suck the bottle empty just leave the hose going to the pump with oil then refill with other oil i know someone that switched from amsoil to blue marble without emptying the bottle and the engine went down sent to the lab it was an oil issue

I did that with ACsynthetic with maybe a qt left in tank and did not have a problem with bluemarbel.

I have heard of issues. I don't know why anyone would risk it. A cheap hand pump and a few minutes of your time and you have peace of mind. Just my 2cents.
