switching drivers? 1-1/8 to 1-1/16

looking at some used drivers
is it possiable to reuse driver that fit 1-1/6 & 1-1/8, that were installed on 1-1/8 shaft and reinstall them on a 1-1/16???? will the plastic fit tight again on the 1-1/16 shaft?

I wouldnt do it....if it was the other way around be easy.

Drivers won't expand.

I'v put 1 1/16 drivers on a 1 1/8 shaft, but you need a good press.
The good thing about doing that is the driver will never spin on the shaft.

are you saying they wont fit tight on the 1-1/16 anymore after being pressed onto the 1-1/8 shaft?

Yup.
