Switchback Pro R 13- handlebars click up and then down when pulled???

Brand new machine so it shouldn't be a use thing......

My handlebars have a slight up and down movement to them. Like if I pull back (up) I feel a slight click and hear a noise and then again when I push down slightly.

It feels like something is loose but I'm not sure and have never owned a pro R before any information would be appreciated as the dealer is located rather far away.

thanks

Sounds like they did not tighten the pivoting riser enough. There should be four bolts clamping the lower pivot (Steering post to the riser), and four clamping the upper pivot (riser to the handlebars).

You may want to play with it some and find what is comfortable for you before you get too carried away tightening them up.

There is no one size fits all, they try and set them up so the average Joe is reasonably comfortable, but since we are not all created equal some adjustment should be considered normal.

Mounting blocks

My 2011 did the same thing found that one of the mounting blocks was assembled upside down. The blocks have a thin and thick side and the steering post has rings that rest against the blocks. I turned the blocks so that the thick sides were against post rings and slop was gone.
