Sweetwater - Flattops Lodging

Is there any ride in ride out cabins? Have stayed many times at the Thunderbird Lodge on the Meeker side, but would like to see if there are any options from the south side.

Good question. I haven't heard anything about lodging/riding up that way out of Sweet water but I have eyed the area on google earth a ton. Would all depend on those roads heading south from Sweetwater. Are those lodges even open in the winter? TIme for a phone call...

If you want ride in and out riding on the Flattops I would try the Coulter lake lodge. We have had great experience from there. Out of Rifle.
