I was going to remove mine and several peeps tell me that it makes them dart all over the place....so i hope someone also posts up an experiaence of removal....

On that year of sled with the track that you have it will get squirrely or lean to the out side on corners, I have mine removed but i mainly ride off of trails and off of roads, my riding is mainly boon docking and mtn climbing. totally different from what you are doing, it would probably help in the way out riding just depending upon your ability. the newer mdl xp's have a detachable sway bar so you can use it on the trails and roads and detach it when out in the boon dock and deep powder riding!!! Hope this helps a little!!! Good Luck!

Leave it in. The reason most people remove it is for back country riding and side hilling. With it out it allows the front end to act independently from each other this in turn makes it easier to get one ski or the other up in the air when side hilling. If you remove it and all you do is ride trails and logging roads it will dart around like a crack whore with ADHD.

Awesome! But i totally agree. great for sidehilling and boondockin, not for trails.

I have two zx's one out one in one out. on trails my 800 runs a little smoother but in pow it is a massive diff. Sway bar in the sled fights to tip flat and on a side hill the sled again fights to level out. On my 7 it sidehills and turns in the pow sooo much better for me i would never put it back in I love it out. Stiffened the front springs made trails allot better. Hope that helps
